473 Women Constables Complete Training at Vizianagaram Police College
A group of 473 women finished their police training in Vizianagaram.
They belonged to the 2025-26 training batch.
The training lasted nine months.
Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha attended their graduation parade.
She told the new constables to stay mentally strong.
She said women officers can help other women feel safer when visiting police stations.
The minister also asked them to respect their uniforms and serve responsibly.
She opened a new computer laboratory at the college.
The government has increased the training stipend for cadets to ₹12,000.
