NIA Chargesheets Five for Supplying Explosives to Naxals
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has charged five people for giving explosives to a group called CPI (Maoist) in Chhattisgarh.
One of them, Manish Sodhi, was caught in July 2024.
The other four are still missing.
The NIA says these people were helping the CPI (Maoist) to make bombs to use against the police.
The police first found the explosives in September 2024 and then the NIA took over the case.
They found out that the explosives were being sent to the CPI (Maoist) through a secret network.
The NIA is still investigating the case.
NIA chargesheeted five individuals, including four absconders, for supplying explosives to CPI (Maoist).
Manish Sodhi was arrested in July 2024, while the others remain fugitives.
Explosives were intended for making IEDs to target security forces in Chhattisgarh.
The case was initially registered by state police in September 2024 after arresting two accused.
