Milky Mist Commissions Solar Capacity, Reaches 100% Renewable Energy
Milky Mist is a company that makes dairy products.
It has started using a new solar power plant in Arasanoor, Tamil Nadu.
The new plant can produce 10 megawatts of electricity.
Together with its older plant, the company now has 25 megawatts of solar capacity there.
Milky Mist says renewable energy now supplies all of its electricity needs.
The power will support its factory and milk chilling centres.
The plants are expected to produce about 2 million units of electricity each year.
