Studying in the UK: A Personal Journey in Two Chapters
Priya, from India, went to study finance in the UK when she was 22 because she wanted a fast way to learn about the subject.
London was exciting with people from all over the world!
When she returned, she had to learn to do things differently, like shop for groceries and understand new accents.
Years later, she came back to the UK to get her MBA, and this time it was easier.
She's now running her own business and enjoys the chance to study and grow in London.
Priya Juneja first studied in the UK at 22 for an MSc in Finance and returned at 31 for an MBA.
She chose the UK for its finance programs and global reputation, particularly London.
Her first experience involved cultural adjustments like new accents and grocery shopping.
She found the UK education system more application-based compared to the exam-heavy system she knew.
Returning to the UK in her 30s, she found settling in easier and more rewarding than before.
