MHT CET CAP 2026 Seat Acceptance Fee Revised
The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has announced a new fee structure for students who get seats through the MHT CET Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for engineering admissions in 2026.
Starting from the 2026-27 academic session, students will have to pay a fee to accept a seat.
The first time they accept a seat, they pay ₹1,000.
If they get a better seat later and accept it, they pay ₹2,000.
If they get an even better seat after that and accept it, they pay ₹3,000.
This fee is non-refundable and applies to students who participate in the 'Betterment' process.
The final merit list for engineering admissions will be published on July 24, 2026, on the official website.
