Debating Excellence 2025: Technology's Role in Digital Debates
The Calcutta Debating Circle is holding an event called Debating Excellence 2025 to help students improve their debating skills.
They'll learn to speak clearly and argue their points well, even if their future jobs aren't related to debating.
This year's debates are about technology.
The event will feature workshops and debates with students from many schools, along with experts from top universities, to help them develop their speaking skills and consider the positive and negative aspects of technology.
Calcutta Debating Circle (CDC) hosts Debating Excellence 2025, focusing on technology's pros and cons.
The event includes workshops, an exhibition, and training in communicative English and diction.
Over 20 schools and six mentors are participating in the debate, which runs from June 28 to July 8.
The theme is technology, addressing student concerns about AI's impact on debating.
The exhibition debate on July 5 is in memory of Sandip Chatterjee, featuring Indo British Scholars' Association.
