India's Trade Deficit Narrows in November 2025
India's trade deficit, which is the difference between what the country imports and exports, got smaller in November 2025.
The deficit went down to $24.53 billion from $41.68 billion in October.
This happened because India sold more things to other countries, like the US, and bought fewer things from them.
The government has been helping by cutting taxes and making it easier for businesses to export.
Even though some countries like the US and Mexico have put higher taxes on Indian goods, India's exports are still doing well.
The next update on trade will come out next month.
India's trade deficit narrowed to $24.53 billion in November 2025, down from $41.68 billion in October 2025.
Exports increased by 1.35% to $38.13 billion, while imports decreased by 1.88% to $62.66 billion.
Exports to the US rose by $1.3 billion to $6.98 billion despite high tariffs.
Services trade exports reached $35.86 billion, with a surplus of $17.90 billion.
The government has implemented tax cuts, export incentives, and labor reforms to mitigate the impact of high US tariffs.
