Artemis Hospitals Completes Two Successful Lung Transplants
Artemis Hospitals in Gurugram successfully performed two complicated lung transplants.
One patient, John Andrew Mollenthiel from Trinidad and Tobago, had a serious lung disease and needed a transplant quickly.
The hospital worked hard to prepare him for surgery and found a donor lung from Jalandhar.
The transplant was successful, and Mr. Mollenthiel is now recovering well.
The second patient, Pushpendra Kumar from Uttar Pradesh, had a different lung disease and was very sick.
Artemis Hospitals arranged for an in-house organ donation, and Mr. Kumar is also recovering well.
These transplants show how important organ donation is and how it can give people a new chance at life.
Artemis Hospitals successfully performed two lung transplants on an international and a domestic patient.
John Andrew Mollenthiel, a 54-year-old from Trinidad and Tobago, received a lung transplant on December 3 after a complicated medical journey.
Pushpendra Kumar, an IT executive from Uttar Pradesh, underwent a lung transplant in November and is recovering well.
The hospital's program aims to improve access to lung transplantation in North India, reducing the need for patients to travel to South India.
Both patients are recovering well, with improved physical abilities and quality of life.
