SEBI Expands REIT, InvIT Access; Reviews Research Fee Unbundling
The market regulator, SEBI, is making it easier for people to invest in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and Infrastructure Investment Trusts (InvITs).
They want more people to know about these investment options.
SEBI is also looking at how research fees are charged and might change how this works.
They've made a new rule that mutual funds can't invest in certain types of share sales before a company goes public, but they can invest in a different type of share sale called anchor rounds.
