Mumbai: Water Pressure Low in Areas Due to Metro Project
Some areas in Mumbai will have less water pressure for a week because of the Mumbai Metro project.
Workers will be digging tunnels near a big water pipe.
This means people in parts of Andheri and Vile Parle will have less water at certain times.
Also, good news: the lakes that give Mumbai water are filling up because of the rain!
Water pressure will be low in parts of Andheri and Vile Parle from June 22 to 28.
This is due to tunnelling work for the Mumbai Metro-7A project.
Vile Parle (East) will experience low pressure between 5 pm and 8 pm.
Old Nagardas Road, New Nagardas Road, and Andheri-Kurla Road will have low pressure from 8 pm to 9:30 pm.
The BMC reported a rise in water stock in the seven lakes supplying the city.
