Love OTP: Youthful Romantic Drama with Sports and Love Triangle Elements
Imagine a young guy named Akki who really wants to be a great cricket player.
He tries hard not to think about girlfriends because he wants to focus on his dream.
But then, two girls, Sana and Nakshatra, start liking him.
Sana is a bit bossy but sweet, and Nakshatra is kind and gentle.
Akki gets confused trying to balance his love life with his cricket goals.
His parents and friends help him figure things out.
The movie has funny parts and some romantic moments, especially in the first half.
However, it gets a bit slow in the second half, and some parts feel a bit too predictable.
Love OTP is a youthful romantic drama with a sports backdrop, releasing on November 14, 2025.
The story follows Akki, an aspiring cricketer torn between his professional ambitions and a love triangle involving Sana and Nakshatra.
Performances from the lead cast, including Aniish, Swaroopinii, and Jahnvika Kalakeri, are praised, with Chetan Gandharva noted for comic timing.
The film features engaging narration and natural visuals of Bengaluru, though editing in the second half could be sharper.
While entertaining in parts, Love OTP suffers from a predictable plot, a dip in pace in the second half, and an inconclusive climax, resulting in a partially engaging experience.
