Sri Lanka Forms Vet Panel to Assess Gifted Elephants' Health

Thailand is worried about the health of two elephants it gave to Sri Lanka.

They have asked Sri Lanka to check on the elephants.

Sri Lanka has created a team of vets to examine the animals.

The vets' first look suggests the elephants are fine, but more checks will happen.

A Thai official will visit Sri Lanka to discuss the elephants.

Thailand previously took back another elephant from Sri Lanka.

The concern is that the elephants might be overworked and not getting proper care.
