CPM Leader Urges Youths to Expose Delhi Police Brutality
Md Salim, a leader from the Communist Party of India (Marxist), spoke at a rally in Kolkata.
He asked young people to share videos showing Delhi Police being violent towards peaceful student protesters.
The protesters were marching to the Indian Parliament to demand that the education minister resign because of a leak in a big exam.
Salim said the Supreme Court did not have time to watch these videos, so it's up to the youth to show the country what happened.
He believes the police used force against the students instead of against criminals.
Md Salim questioned the Supreme Court's refusal to watch videos of police brutality on peaceful students in Delhi.
Delhi Police used violence against student protesters marching towards Parliament to demand accountability from the Narendra Modi government.
Salim urged youths to disseminate videos of police brutality to expose the violence against peaceful protesters.
The rally in Kolkata was organized by the CPM’s youth wing DYFI to demand a corruption-free Kolkata Municipal Corporation and recruitment for permanent employees.
Salim criticized the Delhi Police for using weapons against protesters instead of rioting goons or the corrupt.
