Andhra Pradesh Assembly, Council Sessions to Kick Off Aug 17
Every state in India has a group of leaders called lawmakers who help make decisions.
Andhra Pradesh is one such state.
The person in charge of officially opening their meetings is called the Governor.
The Governor of Andhra Pradesh is S Abdul Nazeer.
He has called the lawmakers to come together on August 17.
There are two groups of lawmakers: the Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council.
The first group will meet at 9 in the morning, and the second group will meet at 10 in the morning.
They will gather in a place called Velagapudi, which is in the city of Amaravati.
