Hyderabad's TIMS Plans Medical Tourism Services For Foreign Patients

A new hospital in Hyderabad wants to treat more patients from other countries.

The hospital is called Dr. MCR TIMS.

The government has created a committee to help foreign patients with hospital care, translation, and insurance matters.

Fifty beds will be kept for these patients.

Doctors may treat problems such as heart disease, cancer, organ-related illnesses, and bone conditions.

Officials are discussing agreements with countries in Africa and Arab countries.

Some hospital services will charge fees, similar to NIMS.

Poor patients will still be able to receive free treatment through Aarogyasri.
