WWICS Leaders Highlight Canada’s Regional Immigration Opportunities
WWICS Group leaders said Canada may offer opportunities for immigrants outside its biggest cities.
They pointed to Saskatchewan as a place with a need for skilled workers.
They stressed that applicants must meet the rules and prepare their applications carefully.
Amit Khanna said immigration systems are becoming more selective and focused on skills.
The group plans seminars about immigration options in several countries and regions.
These sessions will explain eligibility, paperwork, application steps and policy changes.
The speakers also described some routes available in Australia, New Zealand, the United States and the United Kingdom.
WWICS Group chairman Lt Col B S Sandhu said Canada is attracting interest as opportunities expand beyond major cities.
Sandhu highlighted Saskatchewan’s land resources and demand for skilled workers, subject to applicants meeting eligibility requirements.
He said immigration interest was picking up after a period of moderation and linked Canada’s approach to economic and labour-market needs.
WWICS Vice President Amit Khanna said immigration routes are increasingly skill-driven and selective, urging applicants to assess eligibility before applying.
The planned seminars will cover immigration pathways and application requirements in Canada, Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe and New Zealand.
