Nasser Hussain Criticizes Pakistan’s Player Overhaul After Test Defeat
Pakistan changed many players and coaches during its Test tour of England.
This happened after Pakistan lost its second match against England.
Seven players were sent home, and seven others joined the squad.
Two coaches were also replaced.
Former England captain Nasser Hussain said these decisions might make Pakistani players feel unwanted.
He said cricket administrators should support players when they struggle.
He also said Pakistan handled Imam-ul-Haq’s injury badly.
Pakistan has now lost 15 of its last 20 Test matches, according to the report.
Pakistan sent seven players, including Muhammad Rizwan, Imam-ul-Haq and Salman Ali Agha, home after losing the second Test against England.
The Pakistan Cricket Board also released Aamer Jamal and Mohammad Jafar, who had not played in the first two Tests.
Seven replacements were brought into the squad, while Sarfaraz Ahmed and Umar Gul were replaced by Mike Hesson and Ashley Nofke.
Nasser Hussain said the changes could increase pressure on players instead of creating a supportive team environment.
