Mizoram CM Reprimanded by Election Commission for MCC Violation
The top leader of Mizoram, the Chief Minister, has been told off by the election supervisors for breaking the rules during an election campaign.
He and his political party are accused of promising big projects and doing things that might unfairly help them win votes.
The Election Commission told the Chief Minister and his party that their actions were not okay and that they need to be more careful in the future.
They were also warned not to do anything that could make the election unfair for others.
This happened while they were campaigning for a special election in the Dampa area.
