Meta Names CJ Desai to Lead Enterprise AI Platform
Meta hired Chirantan “CJ” Desai to lead a new business technology group.
The group is called Meta Enterprise Platform.
It will help companies use Meta’s artificial intelligence tools and infrastructure.
Planned products include Muse Agent, Meta Business Agent, Muse API, and Muse Code.
Desai will report directly to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
He previously led MongoDB and held senior roles at Cloudflare and ServiceNow.
Meta says security and privacy will be included from the beginning.
MongoDB brought back Dev Ittycheria as interim CEO while it looks for a permanent replacement.

Desai will lead Meta Enterprise Platform, which aims to bring Meta’s AI models, agents, infrastructure, and business technology to companies and developers.

Meta says the platform will include enterprise-grade controls, guardrails, security, privacy, and measurement from the outset.
Desai left MongoDB immediately, while Dev Ittycheria returned as interim president and CEO as MongoDB searches for a permanent replacement.
