Behari Lal Engineering IPO Subscribed 2.10 Times on Day 2

Behari Lal Engineering IPO Subscribed 2.10 Times on Day 2

A company called Behari Lal Engineering is inviting people to buy small pieces of it, which is called an IPO.

The company wants to raise ₹302 crore in total, and each share costs between ₹271 and ₹285.

Bidding opened on 12 August 2026 and will close on 14 August 2026.

On the first day, investors showed good interest, and the offer was subscribed more than two times.

Before the shares are even listed, traders are paying a premium of ₹74 per share, which suggests the price might go up by about 26%.

Big institutional investors put in ₹90.48 crore before the public bidding even started.

The company plans to use the money to upgrade its factories in Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab, install rooftop solar panels, and build a third plant.

Several financial experts say it is okay to subscribe because profits have grown steadily and debts have fallen.

But they also warned that the company depends heavily on a few big customers and has not protected itself against changes in foreign currency values.

So the IPO looks promising, but investors should understand the risks before joining.
