NASSCOM and TGCHE Partner to Upskill Tech Learners
The National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) and Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) are teaming up to teach one lakh students each year new tech skills for the next three years.
They'll offer online courses and special in-person classes to help students and teachers learn about things like software and testing.
The goal is to make sure everyone leaving college has the skills to get a job in the tech industry.
The government hopes to make Hyderabad a hub for skilled workers and turn old training centers into places that guarantee jobs for students.
NASSCOM and TGCHE signed an MoU for upskilling one lakh learners annually.
The collaboration aims to offer various training programs in emerging technologies.
The MoU was signed in the presence of the Minister for IT, Electronics, Communications, Industries and Commerce.
Courses will include micro-learning, foundation, and deep-skilling programs.
Certified learners will be connected to potential employers via NASSCOM's Talent Connect.
