Uttar Pradesh Connects All 251 Mandis to National Agmarknet Network
Uttar Pradesh has connected all 251 of its farm markets to a national digital system.
This system is called Agmarknet 2.0.
It collects information about crop prices and how much produce arrives at each market.
Farmers can use this information to compare different markets.
This may help them decide where and when to sell their crops.
Traders can also see what is happening in markets across the state.
The information can make the market system more transparent.
Government officials said the connection was completed through digital links between the state and national systems.
All 251 agricultural produce mandis in Uttar Pradesh are now connected to Agmarknet 2.0.
API integration links the Uttar Pradesh e-Mandi portal with the national market information network.
The integration enables nationwide access to mandi price and agricultural produce arrival data.
Officials say the information will help farmers compare markets and make better marketing decisions.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare praised the integration and 100 percent market reporting.
