Trump's Copper Tariff Change Triggers Price Drop in US Market

The U.S. made a change to the new tax on copper imports.

The original plan was to put a big tax on all copper, making it more expensive.

But, now, refined copper (the type used in wires) is not getting the tax.

This caused the price of copper to drop quickly.

The government is looking into possibly adding a tax on refined copper later.
