Hyundai India Achieves Milestones Amid Price Hikes
Hyundai Motor India had a big year in 2025.
Their popular SUV, the Hyundai Creta, sold over 200,000 units, making it the first mid-size SUV in India to achieve this milestone.
This means they sold about 550 cars every day!
Many of these sales came from diesel versions, and a lot of buyers were purchasing their first car.
However, Hyundai and other car companies like JSW MG Motor, Renault India, and Mercedes-Benz India announced they will increase prices from January 1, 2026, due to higher costs.
Additionally, Hyundai Motor India made history by appointing Tarun Garg, the first Indian to lead the company.
Maruti Suzuki also had a great year, selling over 2.35 million cars and exporting nearly 400,000 vehicles, the highest in any calendar year.
These companies are doing well in India and are planning to grow even more in the future.
