Fans Slam India Captain Shubman Gill After Early Test Dismissal

The Indian cricket team started a big Test match against Sri Lanka in Galle.

The team captain, Shubman Gill, is one of the best batters in the team.

At the start of his innings, Gill looked good and hit a couple of lovely shots.

But then he tried a risky shot, hitting the ball high over the fielders.

The ball was caught by a Sri Lankan player, so Gill was out for just 16 runs.

Many fans were upset and said the pitch was easy to bat on, so Gill should not have taken the risk.

Some fans even joked that maybe Gill's new long-sleeved batting shirt was causing his bad form.

Even though Gill got out early, the rest of the Indian team had a very good day.

Devdutt Padikkal scored his first hundred in Test cricket, which is a very special achievement.
