CBI Files Chargesheets Against Chandigarh Police Officers
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed chargesheets against several Chandigarh Police officers in two separate cases.
In the first case, officers are accused of abducting a dentist, Dr. Mohit Dhawan, to prevent him from appearing in court.
The second case involves allegations of tampering with evidence to benefit an accused in a sexual harassment case.
The CBI found that the officers replaced a seized mobile phone and created false documents.
Both cases were investigated by the CBI after orders from higher courts.
The chargesheets were submitted to the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class Neelam.
