KSRTC Achieves All-Time Daily Revenue Record
The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) made a lot of money in one day, which is a new record for them.
They earned Rs 13.01 crore on January 5, 2024.
Most of this money came from selling tickets, which was Rs 12.18 crore.
The rest came from other things.
The government and the workers at KSRTC worked together to make this happen.
The Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan, is very happy about this and said it shows that the public transport system in Kerala is doing well.
This is more than the previous record of Rs 10.19 crore they made last year in September.
The government is trying to make KSRTC self-sufficient, and this is a big step in that direction.
KSRTC achieved an all-time daily revenue record of Rs 13.01 crore on January 5, 2024.
Ticket sales accounted for Rs 12.18 crore, with the remaining Rs 83.5 lakh from non-ticket income.
The previous record was Rs 10.19 crore, achieved on September 8, 2023.
The achievement was attributed to government policies, systematic management, fleet modernization, and coordinated efforts.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan congratulated KSRTC employees and officials for their hard work.
