Seechewal Reviews Kali Bein Development in Hoshiarpur
A special person from the government named Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal visited a village in Punjab to check on the work being done near a small river called Kali Bein.
He saw that a new road is being built, which will help many villages connect better.
He also talked about fixing a gate on the river and making sure everyone has enough drinking water.
Some parts of the river are causing problems because the water is too strong, so they are checking those areas to build protection.
The local leader promised to help with all the requests from the villagers.
Rajya Sabha MP Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal reviewed development work along the Kali Bein rivulet in Hoshiarpur district.
A 7 km road is being constructed along the Kali Bein at a cost of Rs 3 crore to improve connectivity.
The tender process for constructing a gate on the Kali Bein has been completed, with work to begin shortly at a cost of Rs 3.5 lakh.
Water tankers have been provided to villages facing drinking water shortages, with plans to extend arrangements to remaining affected villages.
