Narayana Health Focuses on Disciplined Expansion
Narayana Health is planning to grow by building new hospitals and clinics.
They have a big plan to spend ₹3,000 crore by 2028.
Most of the money will go into making bigger hospitals in India.
They are also starting more clinics in cities where they already have hospitals.
In the UK, they just took over a hospital and are working to make it better.
They also have a health insurance service that they sell directly to people, which is available in a few cities and will soon be in more.
They are being careful with their money and not spending too much on buying other hospitals.
Narayana Health plans to spend ₹3,000 crore on expansion by FY28, with 80-90% going to hospital infrastructure.
Most hospital expansions will be completed by FY28, with a smaller hospital in Banashankari expected to open next year.
Funding will come from internal savings, bank loans, and bond markets.
The company is evaluating opportunities to take over underutilized hospital assets but remains disciplined on valuations.
Narayana One Health Insurance is available in select cities and focuses on direct sales to customers.
