Mercedes-Benz G-Class Electric Sales Struggle Despite Technology
The electric Mercedes-Benz G-Class, an EV version of the iconic G-Wagon, hasn't been very popular.
Despite having cool features like four motors for cool maneuvers, sales have been low compared to the regular gas-powered version, especially in Europe, China, and South Korea.
People seem to miss the loud engine sound of the original G-Class, which has a strong V8 engine.
The electric version has a battery that can provide a range of about 473 km, and it can charge quickly, but it seems it hasn't won over many fans.
Mercedes-Benz launched an electric version of its G-Class (G-Wagon).
The electric G-Class has a 116 kWh battery and four electric motors.
Sales figures in Europe, China, and South Korea have been low.
The electric version is priced at around Rs 3 cr (ex-showroom) in India.
