Modi: No Exception in Bill For Sacked Ministers, Rijiju Attacks Gandhi
A new law is being considered where if a Prime Minister or Minister is in jail for a long time because of a serious crime, they automatically lose their job.
Some people thought the Prime Minister should be an exception, but he disagreed, saying everyone should be treated the same.
The law is now being reviewed by a special group of people from Parliament.
A minister also criticized a politician for making claims and causing disruptions.
PM Modi declined an exemption for himself in a bill about removing ministers.
The bill proposes automatic removal of ministers in custody for 30+ days on serious charges.
Kiren Rijiju stated PM Modi's reasoning: no special protection.
