US Witness Granted Time for Ram Rahim Castration Case Testimony
A special court in India is handling a case against Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, the head of Dera Sacha Sauda, and two doctors.
The case is about the alleged castration of around 400 followers.
The main witness, who lives in the US, asked for more time to testify because he is getting treatment for an eye problem.
The court gave him one month to tell them if he is ready to testify.
The witness also wanted his lawyer to be with him during the testimony, but the court said no.
The court will decide the next date for the testimony in February 2026.
A US-based witness in the castration case against Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was granted one month to inform the court about his fitness for testimony.
