IndianOil, Air India Partner for Sustainable Aviation Fuel
IndianOil and Air India are teaming up to make flying greener.
They've signed an agreement to use a special type of fuel called Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), which helps reduce pollution.
IndianOil will provide this fuel, and Air India will use it.
This is part of a plan to cut down on carbon emissions from airplanes, helping the environment.
IndianOil has already been certified to produce this fuel, and Air India is working towards a cleaner future for air travel.
This collaboration supports the government's efforts for sustainability and aims to meet global climate goals.
IndianOil and Air India signed an MoU for the supply of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
The agreement aims to reduce carbon emissions in the aviation sector.
The MoU was signed by executives from both companies, in the presence of their respective chairmen.
IndianOil has received ISCC-CORSIA certification for SAF production at its Panipat Refinery.
The partnership supports the Government of India's sustainability initiatives and Air India's Net Zero by 2050 target.
