South Korea raids homes over alleged drone flights to North
South Korean police and military investigators raided the homes and offices of three people suspected of flying drones into North Korea.
The raids happened because North Korea said South Korea's drones flew into their country in September last year and earlier this month.
South Korea's military said they didn't do it.
The suspects include a graduate student and another person from the same university.
They used to work at the presidential office and started a drone company.
The student also ran two news websites that talked about North Korea, but those websites were closed down.
Investigators took something covered in a white cloth from the university lab, but we don't know what it was.
South Korean police and military raided homes and offices of three civilian suspects accused of flying drones into North Korea.
The raids were conducted on Wednesday, with charges of violating the Aviation Safety Act.
North Korea claimed South Korea's drones infringed on its sovereignty in September 2023 and January 4, 2024.
South Korea's military denied involvement, stating they do not operate the drone models in question.
