Telangana Raises New Employees Health Scheme Coverage To ₹3 Lakh
Telangana has increased the medical help available under its employee health scheme.
The coverage is now up to ₹3 lakh for each illness episode.
There is no overall limit on how many episodes a person can use.
If treatment costs more than ₹3 lakh, special approvals are needed.

Higher costs must go to the Employees Health Care Trust Board.
The scheme includes hospital care, some outpatient procedures and follow-up treatment.

Telangana raised cashless medical coverage under the New Employees Health Scheme from ₹2 lakh to ₹3 lakh per illness episode.
The guidelines took effect on July 17 and were issued through a government order dated August 22.
