Sundar Pichai Warns on AI Capabilities and Trust
Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google, has warned people not to trust AI too much.
In an old interview that became popular again, he talked about how AI can do things it wasn't specifically trained to do, like translating a language it wasn't programmed for.
He also said that AI can sometimes act like a black box, meaning even the people who made it don't fully understand how it works.
Pichai also mentioned that AI is changing how people use technology, making interactions more natural.
Meanwhile, a new platform called Moltbook lets AI agents talk to each other, but some experts say the hype around it might be exaggerated.
They claim that some of the posts on Moltbook are actually made by humans, not AI, and that the number of AI agents on the platform might not be as high as people think.
Sundar Pichai warned about AI's unpredictable capabilities in a resurfaced 2023 interview.
He cited an example of an AI model translating Bengali without specific training.
Pichai advised users not to blindly trust AI due to its propensity for errors.
Moltbook, a platform for AI agents, was launched in January 2026 but faced scrutiny over its claims.
Security researcher Nagli disputed the autonomy and number of AI agents on Moltbook.
