TD Faces Challenge in Selecting Chittoor Mayor

The Telugu Desam Party (TD) in Andhra Pradesh is having a tough time choosing a candidate for the Chittoor mayor's post.

Many senior party leaders and loyalists want this important job.

The party's chief, N. Chandrababu Naidu, said elections will happen after some changes to the voter list.

Now, different groups within the party are pushing for their favorite candidates.

Some want a Balija community leader, while others think experience and seniority are more important.

The party is talking to everyone to make a fair decision.

Other groups, like Jana Sena, also want a chance at the mayor's post.
