Indian Rupee Recovers Slightly from Record Lows
The Indian rupee, India's currency, went down to its lowest value ever but then bounced back a bit on Friday.
This happened because the US dollar, which is the currency of the United States, became a little weaker.
Also, the stock market in India did well, which helped.
The rupee had fallen because of pressure on India's exports and money leaving the country.
Experts think the rupee might go up a little more because the US might cut interest rates, but it might also be affected by trade talks between India and the US.
The rupee is expected to trade within a specific range in the coming days.
The Indian rupee recovered from its all-time low on Friday, closing at ₹88.28 against the US dollar.
The rupee's recovery was attributed to a weaker US dollar and positive domestic markets.
The rupee opened at ₹88.39 and hit an intraday low of ₹88.42 per USD.
The previous day, the rupee had closed at an all-time low of ₹88.35.
Analysts predict the rupee will trade with a slight positive bias, possibly influenced by the US Federal Reserve's interest rate decisions.
