Concor Expands Services, Offers Export Container Shipping
Concor, part of Indian Railways, is now letting businesses use its containers to send goods out of India.
Previously, these containers were only for moving goods within the country.
The first international shipments are going to places like Jebel Ali in West Asia.
This new service helps companies by making it easier to ship goods from where they are made to where they need to go.
Concor plans to expand this service to more countries, including those in East Asia, Africa, and the US.
This should make shipping easier for businesses.
Container Corporation of India (Concor) is now providing its containers for export shipments.
The initiative began with West Asian countries, with an agreement signed with the Rais Hassan Saadi Group.
The first shipment was dispatched from Mundra to Jebel Ali, followed by Chennai and Coimbatore to Jebel Ali.
Concor aims to expand its service to East and South East Asian countries, Africa, Europe, and the US.
The service simplifies logistics, offering end-to-end solutions and allowing bookings from origin to destination.
