Mamata Banerjee Likely to Campaign Under New TMC Banner
There will be an election again in the Rejinagar area of West Bengal.
Rabiul Alam Choudhury is contesting for Mamata Banerjee’s faction.
His party will use a new name and a football-player symbol approved by the Election Commission.
Choudhury had planned to leave the election but changed his mind after speaking with Banerjee.
Banerjee may campaign for him in a few days.
Choudhury believes voters will recognize him even with the new symbol.
Humayun Kabir has stopped campaigning on foot because 10 workers from his party were arrested.
Kabir says he will communicate with voters through Facebook instead.
Mamata Banerjee is expected to campaign for Rabiul Alam Choudhury in the Rejinagar Assembly bypoll.
