SA20 fills stadiums, builds local fan loyalty, says Chris Morris
There is a big cricket competition in South Africa called the SA20.
It is a bit like the famous Indian Premier League, or IPL.
A former cricket player named Chris Morris talked about why the SA20 is so popular.
He said it has brought big crowds into the stadiums, and some games are completely sold out.
The league has teams in different cities, so people can cheer for the team from their own area.
Famous cricket players like Kagiso Rabada and David Miller play in the league.
The next season, called Season 5, is coming soon.
Some new players from England and Australia will join, like Joe Root and Mitchell Marsh.
Morris thinks the tournament will keep getting bigger and better.
He says people just want to be part of the fun and excitement.
Former South Africa fast bowler Chris Morris told IANS that SA20 has pulled crowds into stadiums, with packed and sell-out games.
He credits the franchise system, similar to the IPL, with creating clear local team loyalties ahead of Season 5.
Stars like Heinrich Klaasen, Kagiso Rabada, David Miller, Lungi Ngidi, Dewald Brevis, and Tristan Stubbs have driven attendance.
Season 5 will feature England's Joe Root, Phil Salt, Sam Curran, and Will Jacks, plus Australia T20I captain Mitchell Marsh.
Morris sees Mitchell Marsh's move to three-time champions Sunrisers Eastern Cape as a major talking point.
