PWD Plans Repairs for Three Major South Delhi Flyovers

Delhi’s Public Works Department wants to repair parts of three important flyovers in South Delhi.

They are the Nehru Nagar flyover, the AIIMS flyover and a loop linked to Barapullah Phase 1.

These roads connect important parts of South Delhi with places such as DND and Sarai Kale Khan.

The repairs are intended to make the flyovers safer and help them last longer.

Workers will replace expansion joints and perform other routine maintenance.

The project is expected to cost Rs 1.3 crore.

It should take about four months after the work is awarded.

Barriers will be added to stop heavy vehicles from using a restricted stretch.

Officials will coordinate with traffic police before construction begins.
