Thane Civic Body Aims to Complete Monsoon Prep
The Thane government is working hard to get everything ready before the rainy season.
They're cleaning the city's drains and fixing roads so that water doesn't build up everywhere when it rains.
They are also finishing a big road project, a flyover, by early June to make traffic move faster.
The head of the city, Saurabh Rao, said that everything should be done by the end of May.
They are also making sure that the lakes are clean.
The goal is to keep the city running smoothly during the heavy rains.
Local leaders are keeping an eye on things to make sure everything gets done on time.
Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) plans to finish drain cleaning and infrastructure work before monsoon.
The Kasarvadavali flyover is expected to be operational by June 5, improving traffic flow.
