Vundavalli urges politicians to advocate for Andhra Pradesh
A former politician named Vundavalli Arun Kumar is asking other political leaders in Andhra Pradesh to speak up more.
He feels that when the state was divided a long time ago, it wasn't done fairly, and his state didn't get everything it deserved.
He's not saying they should try to put the state back together, but he wants leaders to talk about this problem in the big national meeting, called Parliament.
He mentioned that even the Prime Minister has talked about the unfairness before.
Vundavalli also said that the state government should try harder in court to get what's owed to them.
He believes that even though they might be in different parties, speaking up for the state isn't being against another political group.
Former MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar criticized political parties for their silence on the perceived injustice to Andhra Pradesh during its bifurcation.
He urged politicians to raise their voices in Parliament regarding the state's plight and to demand due funds and rights.
Arun Kumar clarified his intention was not to re-merge states but to prevent future injustices.
He alleged that the bifurcation resolution was passed without voting and that 2,000 state assembly resolutions were not considered.
He called upon Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan to advocate for Andhra Pradesh in Parliament.
