DIIs Infuse Record Funds into Indian Equities
Domestic investors are putting a lot of money into Indian stocks.
They've already bought a record amount this year, more than they did in all of last year.
Mutual funds are leading the charge, thanks to regular investments from people and still have plenty of cash on hand.
While this is happening, the Indian stock market hasn't grown as fast as other big markets around the world.
The Sensex is only up 2%, and the Nifty is up 4% in US dollars.
