How to Revive Curry Leaf Plants Yellowed by Monsoon Rains

During the rainy season, curry leaf plants can get too much water.

Soggy soil stops the roots from getting enough oxygen.

Without oxygen, the plant's leaves turn yellow and may fall off.

You can help by making sure water drains out of the pot and never collects at the bottom.

Use soil that lets water flow through, like a mix with sand, perlite, or cocopeat.

Don't water the plant every day — instead, check the soil first.

If the top inch of soil feels damp, wait before watering again.

Even on cloudy days, the plant needs about five to six hours of sunlight.

Rain washes nutrients out of the soil, so the leaves can look pale.

Once the soil is no longer soggy, giving the plant a little fertilizer can help it grow green again.
