India is a very big country that became free 80 years ago.
Now India wants to be important and helpful to the whole world.
Other countries are looking for new friends to trade with and work with.
India wants to help with things like technology, energy, and building things.
More than one out of every six people on Earth lives in India.
But India does not trade as much with the world as other big countries yet.
India has a big dream called Viksit Bharat for when it turns 100 years old.
India wants to build more roads, factories, and clean energy.
It also wants good jobs and schools for all its people.
If India becomes strong at home, it can help make the world better too.
India is entering its 80th year of Independence, shifting from securing its place in the world to helping shape global growth and choices.
India carries credibility with the Global South while maintaining strong relationships with advanced economies across trade, technology, talent, energy and supply chains.
