Father, Daughter Die Saving Teen From High-Voltage Wire
On December 5, 2023, in Jalgaon city, a man named Maulana Sabir Khan and his 12-year-old daughter Alia died after they were electrocuted while trying to save their 16-year-old niece, Maria Fatemabi.
Maria had touched a high-voltage wire while drying clothes on the terrace.
Maulana Sabir and Alia tried to help her but got electrocuted as well.
Maria was seriously injured and taken to the Civil Hospital.
People in the area have been asking for the high-voltage wire to be removed for months, but it was still there.
