xAI Launches Grok Bot: An Always-On AI Agent App
A company called xAI has created a computer helper named Grok Bot.
Grok Bot is not a robot with arms and legs — it is a program that does work for you on the internet.
You talk to it by sending messages, just like texting a coworker.
The bot can log into websites and apps you use and do tasks such as tidying your inbox, tracking expenses, or fixing bugs.
It works on its own and only asks you when a human decision is needed.
Grok Bot remembers past chats and learns how you like things done, so it gets better the more you work with it.
If you show it a task once, it saves the steps as a routine and can repeat them by itself.
