Cyclone Damage Hits 45,763 Hectares of Andhra Pradesh Crops
A cyclone damaged many farms in Andhra Pradesh.
Officials estimate that 45,763 hectares of crops were affected.
This includes both regular farm crops and horticultural crops.
The damage has affected more than 77,000 farmers according to the preliminary figures.

Preliminary assessments show cyclone damage to 45,763 hectares of agricultural and horticultural crops across Andhra Pradesh.
Agriculture crops account for an estimated 44,029 hectares across 1,229 villages and 190 mandals, affecting 71,796 farmers.
Horticultural crops were damaged across 1,734 hectares in 351 villages and 89 mandals across 14 districts, affecting 5,777 farmers.
Enumeration has been completed for 726 agricultural farmers and 950 horticultural farmers, while some crop-loss details remain pending.
Agriculture Minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu ordered officials to verify field damage and ensure no affected farmer is excluded from records.
